SPORTING ARTS & CULTURE :
Step Ahead School encourages every child to take part in one or two sporting disciplines as we use sports for physical fitness as well as promoting team work and socialization, we understand that to promote team work children have to be trained while they are young as a way of taking them away from social ills such as early pregnancy , crime and drug abuse.
Sporting can also become a source of employment in the future if your child is able to master it well

Music
Step Ahead's curricular includes music,we teach your child music to enhance their physical, language, social-emotional, and cognitive development.“Music is an art and a fundamentally important part of our culture, and an education without them is an impoverished education leading to an impoverished society. Studying the arts should not start in high school but at the foundation phase. Step Ahead takes arts as important as the sciences: they are time-honored ways of learning, knowing, and expressing oneself”
CHESS:
Step Ahead has introduced indoor games for children because we know children love games. Chess motivates them to become willing problem solvers and spend hours quietly immersed in logical thinking. A learning environment organized around games has a positive affect on students' attitudes toward learning.
CRICKET:
Cricket allows children between the ages of 6 to 12, an equal opportunity to get outside and get active. Cricket is getting kids active around South Africa with over 114 000 children playing in the programme while learning the disciplines of cricket.
Children not only have fun practicing their batting and bowling skills but also develop self–confidence and get the physical exercise they need, all while having fun with their new–found friends on the pitch. Cricket is also a major employment creator in the future life for your child.
