SCRIPTURE UNION:
Step Ahead School is a Christian centered school ,hence it is running a Scripture Union Club, this is a way of bring the Bible alive into children and young people's lives. The club currently holds its activities each Wednesday of the week in the afternoon and leads on the Prayer Day Programs.

Worldwide For nearly 150 years, the Scripture Union has been working hard to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with children and young people in exciting and relevant ways.

Sporting Houses:
Our House System is important to us and our learners . We developed this system to further develop a sense of belonging , socialization, competition, community and unity spirit for our learners while in and out of school, whereby ‘Houses’ will be recognized for helping to ensure that our school is a good place to be.
Increasingly much of what we do at Step Ahead School, both curricular and extra-curricular, is linked to our house system. The school sporting uniform reflect this, since the uniform identifies which house each pupil proudly and loyally belongs.
Tours & Camps:

Step Ahead School put much importance in Educational trips as they are important in many ways.
Going on a Educational trip means more than simply leaving the school grounds. Educational trips have a major socialization and educational element, the impact of our Educational trips extend much further, this includes giving students a life chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom and text books,it also gives learners a chance to see places and learn new things.
FAREWELLS:
At the end of each year Step Ahead School holds a farewell party for its Grade 9 learners, its a time for us to thank them for being with us for 9 years and to exchange gifts and for them to say good bye to their educators, classmates and friends. To leave them the best memories, we hold a warm and joyful farewell party. Hope that they can enjoy the party and have lots of fun. Of course, in the party, we will prepare some performances and touching photo and videos for them to view on our website later in life.
GRADUATIONS:

Each year Step Ahead Pre- & Primary School holds a graduation event for its foundation phase learners.
Its a once in life chance for our young learners to be ushered into higher levels of education life through this special process, it's a time they will remember later in their life as adults and be able to use this to promote the education of their own children as well as others in the community
